WHY CHOOSE US?

As a leading mobile RV repair company in the area, we try to exceed all expectations and provide the best customer service around. We are an owner operated small business that truly cares about doing right by each and every customer. Integrity, honesty and communication are some of what we find to be key factors that set us apart.

EVERY JOB IS PERSONAL

If you want the quality you would expect from the dealership, but with a more personal and friendly atmosphere, you have found it.

THE RIGHT TOOLS

We continually invested in tools and equipment to diagnose the problem, instead of just throw parts at a suspected problem. Our investment, saves you time and money!

PROFESSIONAL INTEGRITY

We are honest about what we find on your unit, what we know as technicians and our limitations from being a mobile RV repair service.  If we can’t fix it because either a specialist or shop facility would better option we will let you know.

RV SERVICES

We offer a wide range of mobile RV repair services to owners located in the Austin and surrounding Hill Country area. Not only can we repair and help maintain your RV, but sometimes a new RV’er just needs to know how their RV works and some good do’s and don’ts of RV living.  We can show you how things work and how RV systems, appliances and mechanicals are different than the comparable equipment found in traditional homes.

AC SERVICE/REPLACEMENT

Whether its a cleaning of the coils or have a more serious issue, we can make sure you can camp/live in comfort. We can trace the problem no matter where it leads: a power issue, a thermostat, a capacitor or maybe the whole unit needs to be replace because it’s sealed, we can find and fix it.

WATER HEATER SERVICE/REPLACEMENT

Regular maintenance is highly recommended to avoid premature wear, corrosion and ensuring you always have a hot shower!

SLIDEOUT MAINTENANCE

It’s easy to forget the hidden parts of slide out operations but regular cleaning and some lubrication of the mechanisms are needed to keep them moving easily to not only reduce the stress and wear on parts but to make sure they don’t get stuck in or out because it’s never a good time to lose slide function.

RUBBER ROOF MAINTENANCE

Annual inspection, cleaning and a UV treatment can help stave off one of the most expensive RV repairs.

RV ORIENTATION/WALK THROUGH

New to the RV lifestyle and not sure how your new to you RV works? We can also show you! Even if you had a walk through at the dealer, the excitement of the purchase or the fast pace of the dealer may have had you overwhelmed with new information. Don’t worry we hear it all the time.

FURNACE SERVICE/REPLACEMENT

A furnace is one of the lowest maintenance systems on an RV but when they fail it’s never a good time. A full inspection and cleaning before each season can save you time, money or just a cold night.

  • "David performed an inspection on my travel trailer, and I was shocked at how many issues he discovered that were not found by the dealership when I bought it! Had I known then, what I know now, I would have been able to save hundreds of dollars not to mention saved me from a disastrous camping experience. I will definitely be using his inspection services on my next RV purchase!"

  • The electric steps on our motorhome went out while we were visiting in Austin, TX. We called Heads Up RV on recommendation from another mobile RV service that was too booked up to help us and boy, are we glad that we did. It is hard to imagine another RV mobile service as customer service oriented and that works as hard as did David and Curt to make sure that the job was done right and to our complete satisfaction, and at a more-than-fair price. We were very impressed with them. Many thanks to David and Curt at Heads Up RV for coming to our rescue and for a job very well done. They have our highest recommendation.

DO YOU KNOW...

  • The first tank to empty is the black tank, so that the grey water helps rinse the hose. A black tank should not be emptied until it is at least 2/3rds full. If you need to empty but haven’t reached 2/3rds yet, you can simply hold the toilet flush lever open to fill the tank more. This extra water helps the flow and this flow is the friction needed to clean and move the contents out.

Bonus Tip: After dumping, add water up to the first sensor of your black tank to help keep solids suspended which prevents them from sticking/building up at the bottom of the tank.
